What You’ll Do
If you enjoy DevOps, Kubernetes, and Linux/Unix systems—and love solving operational challenges with engineering—you could be the perfect fit as a HANA Reliability Engineer.
As part of the Database Cloud Infrastructure Reliability Engineering team, you’ll focus on keeping HANA Cloud microservices reliable, available, and high performing. You’ll contribute to automation, incident management, monitoring, and long-term system improvements. You’ll also partner with agile development teams to support system design and operations, while constantly learning the inner workings of HANA Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze system workflows and data usage to identify improvement opportunities
Contribute to solving operational challenges using automation and software engineering
Respond to incidents and support emergency resolution
Design and implement system enhancements for resilience and scalability
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders
Continuously monitor and improve system performance and reliability
What You Bring
University degree in Computer Science or related discipline with excellent grades
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development or engineering
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Programming skills in Golang, Python, or Java
Strong Linux bash scripting and system automation experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Eagerness to learn HANA Cloud internals and grow in a reliability-focused role
