What would you do at Khatabook

Build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable client-facing and internal APIs
Writing unit-tests code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Take ownership of product/features: end to end development with testing and meet the deadline

What are we looking for

1+ year experience writing production backend services at scale
Good understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design and Databases
Experience working on SQL database, especially data modelling and scalable schema design
Working knowledge of message queues, NoSQL databases & caching systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and building services for scale
Basic knowledge of python, scripting and common data-science toolkits is a plus
Bonus points for experience with Typescript, Node.js
